In the 2nd chapter of Of Mice and Men I learned a lot about the character of Curley. First of all, he is a very jealous person. His wife is rather flirtatious, so whenever she flirts with another man, or vice versa, Curley gets upset. I can understand why Curley would be upset, but he doesn't have to react in the way he has. For this reason I would consider Curley unreasonable because if another man looks at his wife, he instantly hates that person.
Can Everybody Walk With Everybody Else?
Everybody does deserve a chance to walk with everybody else, but the real question is if that can be achieved. Not everybody gets a chance to walk with everybody else in his or her lifetime. It’s simply not possible. If everybody were socially equal, would the world be better? Perhaps it would be a better place, although, there is no way of knowing. I just know that it is not possible for everybody on this planet to walk equally among everybody else.

The Necklace
I find the character of Mathilde in the short story, The Necklace, to be very greedy and focused on what other members of society think of her. Based on how the story describes Mathilde, I can understand why she did what she did. When she lost the necklace that belonged to her friend, Madame Forester, Mathilde was forced to find a way to either find the necklace or work for the money to buy a new one that she would then replace the original with. If I were in the same predicament as Mathilde, I definitely would not have reacted similarly to her; however, I can understand why she decided to react in the way she did, strictly based on how her personality is portrayed in the story.

My favourite place to visit is River Falls, Wisconsin. My mom grew up in Wisconsin so it’s lots of fun to visit family and see where she’s from. It’s a very small town, so there isn’t a lot going on; however, it’s still nice to have some peace and quiet. I love spending time with family because I don’t get a lot of chances to see everybody and talk to them. I look forward to going back again this Christmas to see everybody, and to see my cousin’s newborn baby.
